Maybe they just wanted to prevent many ships causing confusing there, and gave a 'first' to the official guys. Indeed this would be a good time for them to come up with lon lat . Maybe the media can ask them?

The question that the media should ask them is about their financial situation and why they were jumping on this particular bandwagon with their pure bullshit claims of phantom MRI by satellite imaging.

New Scientist called it right when they put it into the same bit bucket as remote viewing and crystal healing on the inside back page.

that is exactly correct. That is how the BFO is supposed be able to break the north south symmetry. If the satellite was moving north at the time, (the satellite movement is known essentially exactly) and if the plane was north, the BFO would be different than if the plane was south.

If the satellite was not moving, then there would be nothing to break the north south symmetry.
