finally!

Global temperature is cyclic and varies up and down with a period of a few thousand years, there's absolutely nothing the human race can do to change that fact - you'd have to cull approximately 75% of the entire world population to make a barely noticeable difference and even then the ice caps would still melt!

"The events predicted for 2012 by the ancient Maya are not substantially different than those predicted by sages throughout the millennia. Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist and other seers have predicted similar events marking 'the end of time.' And the Maya are only one of many indigenous cultures that have spoken of their deeply held vision for the events near and immediately after the end of time.

"All of these prophecies point to a relatively sudden awakening into much greater awareness for some or all of Humanity. What has been well hidden within the folds of your present four-dimensional world will be clearly revealed by the additional Light available in the unfolding of the new, five-dimensional world...." --

Nah, it took "him" this long to figure out what went so horribly wrong at big bang time, that's been causing all of the pain and suffering that has made most people's lives a virtual living Hell.

Well, he finally figured it out - I think the internet had a lot to do with that, like we're neurons in the brain of God and the internet is his plexus of dendrites, axons, and synapses. ;-)

And, of course, as has been true since before the beginning of time, Free Will is the answer.

No, it's true - earthquakes, weather disasters, wildfires, tsunamis, these are all part of the Earth Changes that are happening right now. It is Armageddon time, after all. ;-)

A while back there was a clip called "Armageddon" doing the rounds - some DJ was recounting the story of 2 gays who had an adventure involving a cardboard tube, a gerbil and a lighter, both ended up in ER but there was no mention of the outcome for the gerbil.

I'm sure eventually it came out.

No eventually about it! - one of the gays had a broken nose and burned face, his broken nose was caused by the impact of the gerbil emerging rapidly from the cardboard tube while he was peering into the tube and trying to lure the gerbil out with the light from a lighter, as it's fur was singed and smouldering from a previous detonation ignited a further pocket of gas.

Has anyone tried creating a webcrawler that randomizes the internet and searches for random strings ala the Bible Code?

It's also not saved in archive.org nor in Google's cache (you don't suppose it was removed from those places by CBS News, do you...).

So I've missed reading about some Great Scientific Advance. I should read s.e.d more often.
