FDTI - FT601Q-B-T - USB3 Interface

Hi all,

A student of mines needs an FT601Q-B-T for a USB3 interfacing project. All the usual well known suppliers are out of stock.

I would appreciate if someone knows of a supplier which may have this IC in stock.

Would FT230X work? We have a bunch of those. Slower.

If all else fails, you may be able to buy an evaluation board and remove the chip from that. There are definitely some of those around (at a price). Is there another similar chip that would work?
