designing of frame grabber

Hello Friends!I came to know about this group through google group and I thought thatthis group may be able to help me out to solve some of my queries.I am working on a project titled "designing of frame grabber board" .In this type of frame grabber board , I have to take input from camerawhich is on some air craft. From there the camera is sending the datato my ground station frame grabber board(which I am going todesign).The camera which is on aircaft can be either USB camera orCameraLink both cases our data is digitized one so I dontneed any video processor or any ADC, I just need to have one USBcontroller(both host and device controller in one chip),some videomemory to store the data which I am receiving from the on-board camera.I need dual host and device controller as the final data I am sendingto my PC through USB port only and not through PCI.This is my project description. Now can you please suggest me whether Ihav to add any more part on my board or this much is sufficient or Ineed to do some more research if I am not touching any furtherparticular area.Waiting for your response,Thanks in advance who so ever reply.With regards

Could it be that you are viewing it with the wrong codec, and that is why the color info is absent and the bar appears?

Yes, it is. Thanks. My problem for using a European chip (PAL) in the U.S (NTSC).

With USB, it would take several seconds per frame. We have been using USB, moving over to PCI.

NTSC (10 to 15 fps), we can get 320x240 on USB, and 700x500 on PCI. We also transmit jpeg snapshot when triggered by motion, using wire or wireless ethernet.
