We have two of those. But the "jet effect" kinda peters out once "the stuff" is 10-20ft down the pipe. Also, when you flush them they sound almost like a tire blowout. There even was a recall on the tank because some of them had violently exploded all by themselves. So now after installing a pressure reduce and other stuff they flush with a bit less gusto.

You're lucky there. The most dangerous scenario is a deer that has been spo oked by something and is running full bore through the brush with little fr ontal visibility in a broadside intercept with you. It will happen so fast even the deer can't stop, and they're very agile animals. That would be lik e getting hit by a car at 40 MPH, could be fatal.
Until that big one comes, the mother of all rocks. The front wheel goes from 25mph to zero in a millisecond and the rider keeps on sailing.
That's why when I see deer or very fresh deer doodoo I start making noises or talk to them.
The other danger is dogs barging out of someone's property. I like dogs and (so far) they all sensed that and remained or became friendly. But when they run in front of you at full speed it's dicey. So I slow down there as well. I found that they are also good in pointing out cleaning needs. When they sniff a particular part of a tire that means I ran through some smelly stuff and have to hose it off back at home.
