These things all come from China anyway so it's cheaper to go direct.

I got exactly the same model a couple of months ago for field work. Cost me about US$8. It's crudely made, the probes are flimsy and the protective frame fits loosely. But it does the job.

You can go even cheaper if you want, just a single opamp oscillator with a switchable feedback R to change ranges. I've even seen that with no meter feed, but instead a piezo sounder was used. The ear can pick up 1% changes no problem.

I've been wanting to get that, and build the fixtures, since I need an L meter too.
In the meantime, I am getting by with an Agilent PNA.
