Boy, thats was a big delete !!

I remember heading east from Barstow, and I ran into some big snow in Flagstaff. I was a little bothered to say the least. That must have been around this time of year

South of Flag, I17 is closed. Multiple accidents, several deaths. They're even predicting heavy winds for the Phoenix metro area tonight, with rain after midnight of sufficient volume to cause flooding... fire stations providing sand and bags :-(

I'm up a hill, so I'll be safe, but I may not be able to get out. ...Jim Thompson

It pays to have at least a partially earthen home for it. We have a little dungeon downstairs, two sides concrete facing earth and rock. Pretty even temps throughout the year. Not super large but holds a few dozen bottles plus some of my lab stuff that's sensitive. Recently we uncorked a local wine (Sogno) from years ago that was "so-so" when we initially tried it, not much to write home about. Now that same red wine is absolutely delicious. Dang, should have bought crates of it.

too bad you couldn't pump it to somewhere where they're in drought conditions.

Ah,well,such is life.

BTW,having a true in-ground wine cellar would save you some kilowatts.
