2 Capitol Police officers suspended and at least 10 more under investigation for alleged roles in riot

Capitol police just let them walk right in there because the "insurrectionists" were their kind of people.

Looks like they weren't overcome with the sanctity of the place or their solemn duty to protect it.

Never heard such a crock in my life.

** CNN is heavily biased in favour of the Dems line of bullshit - cos they know they will get looked after by them. OTOH the opposite is the case with Republicans. Police are not "insurrectionists" but are very pissed at how the Dems have been making scapegoats of them for years so they can win a few votes from the gullible.
** Yep - no more then cattle are willing to protect an abbatoir.
** What exactly is the "crock" here ?

All fun and games until they realized team Trump rioters also had zero problem smashing some police heads if they stood in their way.

Making pals with drugged-out ultra-nationalists on a rampage seems like a bad plan.

Police leaving the doors unlocked to a place so potential criminals can make themselves actual criminals and then the police get to test out their new riot gear is also one of the oldest tricks in the book

The police's job isn't "security", btw.

Well that's exactly what they did. They rioters had an agreement they were not going to get violent with cooperative police. The one who was killed wa s just as likely to have been victimized by a Capitol policeman as a "riote r." That's the way those kind of people roll, use a chaotic situation to e liminate someone they don't like. If you watch the first video closely befo re the rioters ascended the front steps, the CP are talking with the rioter s, then the CP withdraws to the top of the steps, then you can clearly see a CP hand gesturing to the rioters to proceed up the steps, then there's a fake intermixing making it look like the CP are trying to push them back, t otally fake, all in slow motion, next thing the rioters have swarmed the po rtico and are at the entrance doors. Now the FBI sources are saying they ha ve serious questions about how the rioters navigated the office spaces so q uickly and knew exactly where they were going, that could only have happene d if they were being guided by someone with inside information such as a CP O. The people who shot that woman dead looked a lot like Secret Service to me, they didn't get the memo, and they don't need permission from anyone to do what it takes to stop unauthorized personnel from entering an area. So now they have a huge mess because every bit of the interior office spaces h as to be cleared of potential IEDs, other forms of booby traps, chemical/bi ological agents, possible surveillance technology left behind. They'll be u sing people, dogs, and advanced sensor technology for all that.

None of that is lethal. They were just trying to add realism to their littl e act by shaking up some tools in the crowd.

FBI is very scientific, they make a study of these kinds of incidents and t he people who perpetrate them.

e,

You have no clue. Members of Congress were quickly ushered through underground escape tunnels into heavily fortified safe room bunkers. Others were rushed under heavily armed guard to a safe exit such as existed and into waiting armored vehicl es to be evacuated. That type of operation is not conducted by lowly Capito l police.

ces has to be cleared of potential IEDs, other forms of booby traps, chemic al/biological agents, possible surveillance technology left behind. They'll be using people, dogs, and advanced sensor technology for all that.

That tidbit comes from a foreign policy article describing State Department and DHS standard operating procedure for cleaning up embassies and governm ent facilities overrun by insurgents/ anarchist/insurrectionist types. They 're speaking from experience of course, but you never know who else saw the break-in as an opportunity to do something totally unexpected.

More of your childish and impertinent drivel, the only defense you have when you know absolutely nothing about the situation.
