Thanks, I was the one looking for that, I only need 1 but I guess I could take 3 or 4. I've never purchased in Hong Kong. sounds a little sketchy to me.

Graham has good reason to be suspicious. Can you say C-O-U-N-T-E-R-F-E-I-T? Your parts may be legit but do you honestly think any of us would trust to buy parts from a HK source?!?! You -may- be a ligitimate dealer but your cohabitors have permanently tarnished HK and the rest of the far east as a creditable source of parts.

Go to most any far east website and search for parts. Most of the sites show they show that they have *everything*! And, remarkably, ALL the parts have new date codes on them. Even parts that have been out of production for 15, 20 or more years! Maybe just a little suspicious?

Until the far east gets their counterfeiting problem under control - you will never be taken seriously.

I neven said it was out of my reach for price, you never gave me a price for the part it self. I would like a price per unit.

Like I said, Patrick - you may be a legitimate seller and your parts may be just fine. But, others in your area are permanently destroying the reputation for parts from the pacific rim. The governments in your country as well as several others in your area MUST do something about counterfeiting. It has reached pandemic levels and is affecting EVERYBODY whether they know it or not.

Do a check on the past week's GIDEP reports. Almost all of them are now about counterfeit parts. This used to be a problem that happened once a year....not several in one week.

With the global nature of component sourcing, I am not sure if just avoiding suppliers in China is adequate to solve the problem.

Even in North America and Europe where it is considered the "safest", they don't all stock the parts and they may themselves source from China and forward that to you. And those could also potentially be counterfeit, right?

The only solution is to source only new components from an authorized distributor new in an unopened reel, it seems.
