Orcad Layout 10.3 Free Via Issue

Hello,

I am trying to attach a copper area to my ground plane using VIAs. I lay several vias out and make sure their net is set to GND as well. I get a few down and they are all attached to the GND net then for some reason, my layout window minimizes and all the vias I had placed are no longer attached to any net. I can't seem to re attach the vias to the GND plane. Anyone else run into this issue?

Should have bought PCBCAD21 off ebay. That automatically creates powerplanes on each layer and connects them to the desired net.
