Would anyone know if spare battery packs are available in Australia for the Uniden Bearcat BC3000XLT scanner from the mid 90s?

The phone number for Uniden Australia's spare parts department up here in Sydney is (02) 9599 3355. If they can't help, you might have to build your own pack with cells from WES Components or similar. Season's greetings to you too. :)

Recently searching for battery packs for an old Uniden phone, "Batteries R Us" had a generic, may be worth phoning.
