Aug 24, 2010 2:42 PM

Affected vendors to be notified.

NBN Co has announced it would cut down on its spending until its future is determined by the forming of a Federal Government, post Saturday's hung election result.

The freeze on spending and procurement was first reported by the Sydney Morning Herald.

The company said in a statement that it would "continue to operate, plan and use existing resources but would seek to minimise any discretionary expenditure".

Be nice if they were to pay their own way from now on without any Federal Government funds. after all they are a company, that more than likely, rort the system. Like any other that was introduced by Labor.
