initial window size for lingot

I suspect the answer will be "can't" - but I'm trying to set the initial window size for lingot when it starts up. It differs between raspberry pi OS and Mint, and playing with .Xresources doesn't seem to help.

Can it be done, and how? It starts much larger on Mint (MATE), and I need it to be a lot larger on RPi (no mouse on system for easy resizing, for one thing).

I'm not sure it makes a difference, but the Pi is running with the lwm window manager.

TIA.

There does not seem to be an awareness of the issue. Settings don't point that way.

"Originally conceived to tune electric guitars, it can now be used to tune any instrument."

Now, look at the decorations on the window. Hmmm.

There is only an "X" to exit the application.

The other decorations are missing.

The indifference to convention, suggests just about anything is possible. Or not possible. It's more of a "widget" than a "program".

It suggests Mike Scott will fork the code, and fix this :-)

Maybe they're teasing us ? Maybe they think they're "reinventing the wheel" ? Would a round wheel work, I wonder ?

This deserves some sort of prize, like a banana taped to a wall.

Thanks for the reply.

is misleading - on MATE I get a full set of decorations, while on the PI under lwm I get none at all, but with the default WM, again a full set.

It turns out though that there's a second config file, ~/.config/lingot/ui-settings.json which sets a size and position. The size is honoured, position AFAICS is not.

But I had to go to the source to find out.
