what grease/oil to lubricate vcr transport?

I recently purchased a well used Panasonic AG-1970 S-VHS VCR. Thing works great except for the noise produced while loading and unloading tapes. Sounds to me like the tape loading portions of the transport are in need of some grease. Question is, what grease or oil should I be using for this task?

Assuming its not clicking noises or squeels, ie just normal but exagerated mechanical movement noises, then I've only ever used silicone grease

I came across this awhile ago when I was looking to do a VCR repair. See info for 'GC Electronics White Lithium Lubricant'. It's about 3/4 of the way down this page on the right hand side. Also a lot of tools and parts for VCR's. I don't have personal experience ordering from them, so you're on your own.
