Samsung 60 some inch DLP projection set has the sound off a bit from the mouth movement on tuner use but is ok when playing tapes or dvd . Not my tv so i have no model but it is last years model . Is this some sort of settings in the menu ?

Which happens first, the audio or the video?

There is a setting for the delay of audio, which needs to be enabled for the video and audio to be in sync. Reason for this is the rescan rate the tv has to produce a picture thru the processor. it creates a non-interlace image from two interlace transmissions. So that you have a full picture unlike the old rear projection tv's. If you can get me the model .. I will look up the manual and tell you exactly what to do to fix it.
