hi when sound is output from the speakers
the picture flashes and shuts down
crime against TV
any answers?

most the time this sound-on-vision is from the IF section; but in your case i would check the soldering in the hi voltage areas; it seems like the vibration of the speakers is moving a dry joint somewhere casuing shut down.
