I have a samsung HT-P38 home theater system and the DVD player has a problem, when a DVD is put in the display shows "LOADING" for a long time and then goes to NO DISC. CDs play ok. I've tried a cleaning disc to no avail.Since this system only cost about $250.00 is this unit worth sending out for repair or would a new one be a better idea.

I'm not familiar with this particular unit, but if it has a video or even audio input. You could invest in another DVD player and play the sound through the home theater unit. A cheap DVD player would cost alot less than a repair estimate let alone a repair.
