Hi,
Polaroid PDV-0700 7" Portable DVD Player. It plays DVD --- but --- displays ghost image: the LCD screen stays bright white and you can see the severely washed-out picture if look at the screen at small angle (at 90 degrees angle cannot see anything).
While the DVD plays, there is no sound in the loudspeakers built in the screen --- but -- there is a nice sound in the the earphones when plugged.
One possible problem is that the wires which connect the lid of the unit (where the LCD and speakers are) with the main body are broken or loose connection. I have checked those possibilities but do not have definite answer.
Any suggestions what else could be wrong? Thanks. Sergei
