I have a Panasonic that has power, and the power button is lit but no picture and sound. This happened after turning the set on recently. Set was hardly ever used. Any suggestions on to where to start to look for the problem? Thanks snipped-for-privacy@yahoo.com

Leave it run for 24 hours and see what happens.

Quite common on the set is the DG board, try ro reseat it and that fails replace it
