Newer RCA 32" TV dead.

Made in mid 2006...refurbished, now dead again. RCA M # 32V434TYX5 Ch # ATC 010A dead. I found one of the springs on the CRT ground on the main board, & the front audio/video jack wires were pinched in the back. Bad sets I think! Nothing is blown, or damaged, but the SMPS isn't running. Replaced both caps in the power supply, now, it tries to start, but dies again. The secondaries try to come up, but drop right back down. It seem the .68 uf @ 50 volt cap in the SMPS primary is very touchy about the exact value. Can't find anything loading the secondaries. The SMPS reg is a STRW6735. I have one on order. Anyone see these new sets dead? What goes bad? Dani.

I don't know the model... I would try to load the main SMPS secondary (the one providing feedback to the primary section) with a filament lamp....
