Just got a call from California, USA...I'm way down in eastern Canada. Brand name ASTAR LCD, & DVD made in China. Anyone deal with this company? They asked us to be a Service Center for them. I never even heard of the brand. Is the gear, or the company any good? Dani.

I haven't heard of them, but there are hundreds of these companies coming out of China. All these common low end companies are at about the same quality level. If they are going to supply the spare parts, and pay you for your time, there is no loss at taking a crack at being their rep. Just make sure you have a way out if you sign a contract with them.
