Need help repairing KDS VS-190 crt monitor

My beloved 19" CRT monitor, a KDS model VS-190, died yesterday. It's completely dead - no LED, no click a few seconds after it's plugged in, no response to pressing the power button. So I'm hoping it's a power supply issue that I might be able to fix. The fuse, however, is still intact.

First, does anyone know where I might find a schematic for this model?

Second, I'm having trouble sliding the PC board out from under the picture tube so I can access the power supply section. Is it ok to remove the assembly that fits onto the picture tube pins? I mean - without screwing up convergence or whatever? There is a pair of big wires that connects the flyback transformer to a white ceramic collar going around the very end of the neck, and those wires don't seem to want to disconnect at either end.

I'm sorry I'm not using the right terms - I have no experience with TVs to speak of.

I'd really like to revive this monitor if I can. I don't see all that well, and LCD monitors display everything too small to read.

Thanks for any suggestions.
