My snd VCR is broken and I'm hoping somebody can help me locate power supply prints or offer advice on what might be teh cause The unit does not power ( either through teh button or teh Remote) on but the display does show blinkingt time 12;00;00. When Unplugged and repower up it takes 30 or so seconds fro teh display to light up Its not the switch and I'm assuming teh PS has lost a voltage Assides from some diodes that look like they got hot ( and are still good) there is nothig obvious Any help would be appreciated BOb teh time

slow or poor start is a classic symptom of defective capacitors in the power supply. start by changing the ones near the hot components, as these suffer the most thermal stress. be sure to use 105=BA rated replacements.
