Have been offered both a Gateway 18.1" LCD computer monitor and a Gateway 26" LCD TV (presume model 7004691). Am considering buying for repair and personal use. Both "just went off" (not at the same time -- months apart. Apparently no evidence of life when power switch is pressed.
Presume some power supply problems, but would like to know if this brand or model(s) are known for particular issues.
