Hello. I am an electronics tech and I am attempting to repair a controller for a Whisper 3000 wind generator. The system is of 1997 vintage it produces wild 3 phase and then the controller converts to DC. The system was recently struck by lightening and the controller was really burned to a crisp! The unit was manfactured by World Power Technologies and the WPT was later purchased by Southwest Wind Power. SWP no longer produces the EZ Wire Controller but, has subed their version. I have seen the new version and I perfer the older version due to more substantial components i.e stronger cabinet, heavier heatsinks, wiring. My search is this, does anyone happen to have a copy of construction schematics or repair manual for this unit? That with standing, perhaps someone has an extra unit for sale?
