Ditch the old broken stuff - GET A FREE Wii!

Dec 26, 2006 5 Replies

Guys, i'm new here and want to contribute so i thought i'd start with a

post about my free wii which i got on launch day. Basically back in october i signed up to one of those free giveaway websites where you have to sign people up under you and then the company send you a free something or other. All i did was get a few of my mates to sign up, i needed 10 for a wii, some of them wouldn't do it - a crispy =A35 note sorted that out though, and in about two weeks i had enough referals to

claim my free wii. So i submitted my form to get my Free Wii and within

a day i had conformation of when i would get the Wii! To my absolute suprise and delight that day was release day! So on rolled the 8th December and it actually turned up! City Link delivered it before 1pm and i had my self a free wii on release day!

I thought i'd share my experience with everyone here so check out my site, its dead basic and a bit lame at the moment but it's just explaining how to get a free Wii.

dumb spam snipped.

Its a strange marketing campaign that thinks the way to sell a product is to call it 'wee.'

So you decided to "contribute" er should I say SPAM a bunch of newsgroups with this horse hockey. No thanks.

Better than getting people to eat Cheese Whiz?

Marketing decided the original name "PEE" ( Pervy electronic enemea ) might sell rather bad, so they called it "Wii" ( Weird idiotic input ).

Currently Management is trying to sell marketing's staff to their competitors.

Fun stuff is that at the place I work we have a 6 years old "Free Flight Mouse" which is a bit more ergonomically for grown-ups and does the same as the Wiimote, just it has 2 3d accelerometers inside and can calculate its own position in space even during movement quite reliably, transmitting it's data by a propietary 433MHz shortrange RF system. Didn't sold well 6 years ago, so I wonder if the Wii(mote) will sell better now.

Sincerely Ruediger
