My computer monitor, Westec C1500, has blank raster. The green pilot light on front blinks on and off. That's it. Any clues, suggestions, aid, moral support?

Try unplugging it from the wall for a few hours and let it cool down.

You've got a shorted semiconductor, either the horizontal output transistor or something in the power supply. If you know how to work on electronics it's something you can probably fix yourself with some hints, otherwise take it to someone who knows what they're doing, you won't be able to just look inside and see what's wrong.
