I'm looking to replace an RCA CD4066AE, will the TI CD4066BE be a good sub? I know the E means it is PDIP so that matches, but what is the B?

That's true for the logic 4000 series but is that also true for the analog switch chips?

that is how we used them. Actually had a recall program to do that on our products.
