I need a small little monitor and have a game gear. I know the resolution will be terrible, I don't mind that, I just wonder if there is a way to get an RCA in to the little monitor is has. Sega hasn't produced the GameGear in years, so they are fairly cheap, but I am not a big electronics guy, so if it is extremely complicated, I will probably have to pass, but just curious.
Can I convert a Gamegear to an external monitor?

No, it's not trivial, unless you can find the TV tuner accessory for one, but even so it's cheaper to just buy an LCD monitor. I picked up one of those Gamecube controllers with a little LCD monitor in it for like $25 on ebay a while back, the LCD was easy to extract and has composite video in already.
$25, that is pretty good. I will try Ebay and see what transpired.
