a 500 watt 24" baseboard heater. Can this be wired to a110 circuit instead of a 220?

Yes it can be wired to 110. Will it work properly, no.
Yes, but it won't put out very much heat. You can get 120V baseboard heaters, they're not very expensive.
Where can I get a 110 heater?
I bought one at the local McLendons hardware store, anywhere that sells baseboard heaters should either have them or be able to order them.
They got em at Home Depot, bought one for a cabin bedroom addition 2 years ago. Believe the manufacturer was Cadet.
