2sd 1802 find substitute on digikey.com??

i need to replace the 2sd 1802 npn transistor from the lcd power board. The transistor is mounted under the board, so i can't use the bigger one. I can't find the exact substitute on digikey.com

Specification Collector-to-Base Voltage VCBO (-)60 V Collector Current IC (-)3 A

the datasheet for 2sd1802 www.ortodoxism.ro/datasheets/sanyo/ds_pdf_e/2SD1802.pdf

Any suugestion?

Hello,

You could just order a 2SD1802 from MCM Electronics (mcmelectronics.com) for 38 cents each. I'm sure there are many other vendors that have them too.

the 2sd 1802 on the power board is used to driver the lamp transformers. There are 4 transistors, 2 for each lamp. I found a similar npn 60v 3a transistor on digikey, but the parameters are liitle bit different.

The transistor that i found on digikey is STD1805-1

I don't want to go somewhere and be charged for $20 just for 2 transistor since I have $30 stuff to order in digikey.

What parameters exactly do I have to make sure for substitute the transistor > snipped-for-privacy@yahoo.com wrote:

On most characteristics the 2SD1805 should work but the switching storage and fall times are considerably higher than the original transistor. If it were me, I would not leave 2 of the original transistors insitu with 2 of the replacement transistors just in case the differing characteristics caused an imbalance sufficient to cause the inverter to fail again. For the sake of a few $ I would substitute all 4 transistors so that they are the same.
