I would like to buy a cheap device to try my first embedded linux on it. I was offered a Nintendo Gameboy at a near-free price. Do you know if anyone was able to run Linux on it? If not, do you have any other device suggestions?
Thanks,
Lester

Hi Lester,
Which model gameboy ? IIRC, you can get definately get linux running on the Advance and maybe the SP ?
take a look at linuxdevices.com there are lots of little wireless AP, firewall/vpn routers that you can get quite cheaply that can (or already do) run some type of linux.
Regards,
