Hi everyone,

I would like to buy a cheap device to try my first embedded linux on it. I
was offered a Nintendo Gameboy at a near-free price. Do you know if anyone
was able to run Linux on it? If not, do you have any other device
suggestions?

IIRC, you can get definately get linux running on the Advance and maybe the SP ?

take a look at linuxdevices.com
there are lots of little wireless AP, firewall/vpn routers that you can get
quite
cheaply that can (or already do) run some type of linux.
