NFS mounting

Hi, Can Linux boot by mounting NFS file system which is present in clearcase VOB.??[ Or for that matter any file system that is a part of configuration management tool]

[BTW: Clearcase is a configuration tool for managing the source code.]

Thanks Uday

It's much more than that. If that is all you are using it for, you've wasted your money. You should be using it to manage the entire configuration from tool-chain down all the way through to released code, configuration files and documentation.

Hi Uday! How's your psos MB with Linux DB project going?

Booting out of ClearCase is an excellent idea. You already have the link to the syslinux site where they describe how to use pxe boot and etherboot.

google NFS diskless linux
