QUALIFICATION (DETAIL):
Education: BS/MS degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Experience: -Experience with wireless drivers and/or other networking drivers
-Knowledge of networking protocols and security concepts
-Unix/Linux and/or Windows OS driver experience
-Strong understanding of OS kernel internals
-Experience with embedded platform development and debugging
-Strong analytical and debugging skills
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-4-6 years of applicable work experience
Other: BS/MS degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITY:
He/she will work on wireless LAN software development for Windows and embedded platforms.
Perform feature development and porting for customer specials.
Work with field engineering, analyze customer issues and provide solutions through interaction with core software and hardware development teams.
Maintenance of released products. He/she will have the opportunity to work and gain expertise in many aspects and areas of the product. Responsibilities include preliminary
analysis, design, coding, testing, documenting and communicating the changes.
Travel to customer site may be required.
