Hi, newbi with DENK ELDK 2.1 installation. Questioning if instructions are accurate. I do the following from the installation directory eldk-ppc-linux-x86 as built from ftp site download:
./install ppc_8xx
This creates the subdirectories bin,usr & var and only copies rpm to them. The bin directory also contains the symbolic link ppc-rpm.
Following instructions indicate using CROSS_COMPILE environment variable which is set to cpu arch of ppc_8xx-.
Instructions show usage of ${CROSS_COMPILE}rpm which does not match with what was created during install (ppc-rpm).
I somewhat expected more packages to be installed and their prefix being ppc_8xx- instead of ppc-.
Can someone give me a hint to what I am doing wrong or are the instructions inaccurate?
