A good calculation on 64bit hexa

Hi all!



I have this big problem with making 64 bit hexa calculations and just found out that windows calc CANNOT calculate more than 32 BIT!!! Does anybody know of a reliable calculator to make double or long double hexadecimal calculations that I can use? I really don't want to have to spend 300 euros for an HP calculator and there HAS to be something around that I can download. I have been trying to find something through google but none the software I downloaded was accurate enough.

I just tried it with 'kcalc' and it works :-)

The next one I tried was 'bc' and it works too: echo "obase=16; ibase=16; 0123456789ABCDEF*0123456789ABCDEF" | bc

14B66DC33F6ACDCA5E20890F2A521 (Calculated it yourself to verify :-)

So you may use 'kcalc' or 'bc' to do your 64bit calculations. You are using a posix system for your development, are you? ;-)
