TV antenna question

I am thinking of puting up a TV antenna that will be inside some foilage like tree leaves and small branches. Will this affect the antenna's reception?

Like many questions about antennae, the answer is yes . . . but!

There will be some attenuation, depending on the type of tree, density of the leaves, moisture in and on the leaves, and so on.

The tree will also have an effect on the metals used and any joins between cable and antenna elements. Some trees help and some don't!!!

There will be a greater effect at UHF than at VHF.

BUT, if you are > I am thinking of puting up a TV antenna that will be inside some foilage
