I try to write very simple PIC application examples and give them free to use on my web site, for pic newbies and hobbyist.

Coming soon :

- a funny single-nixie clock (DC77, PIC16F84A)

- an astronomical LCD clock with sun/moon rise/set & moon phases (a little bit more complex, DCF77, PIC18F452)

Ideas, comments and requests are also welcome !

Thanks,

Bruno

Hi Bruno,

With reference to your site, do you still have your XT? My Dad's still using an XT-286 insisting that it is perfectly adequate, oh and it never ever ever crashes. He has an IDE adapter in the thing and we've recently moved him over to one of these 1,000,000+ write CF cards. Uses NetTamer and Arachne to browse the web.

Yes... and No ! i used it intensively untill 1997, without any problems too (it was overclocked to 8 MHz instead of 4.77 Mhz !). then I moved to a notebook due to lack of space (and of power...) I still use its parts in my electronic lab : power supply, memory chips, ISA cards... Today I very much regret not having kept the case, it was so 80' ! Good idea about the CF cards ;-) ! My father also have and IDE disk on a 386 AT, I will think about it !
