Hi, I have a school assignment to do, and this is a question that I don't know how to answer. A screen display allows 256 colours. How many bits of memory spaces are able to cope with all colours that are available? A. 1 B. 8 C. 16 D. 256 Please help. Thanks in advance.

1) I've read my textbook, but it doesn't say anything about this. 2) The problem is I don't have classes! The teachers say self study. 3) I want to ask too, but I'm not sure who to ask. I've asked here, haven't I?I know the answer is 8. Didn't know the explanation though. Thank you for that link.
