I want to understand the basic path types as: clock t osetu; clock to pad because i have many problems when i made the static timing after place and route ( xst tool of xilinx) and also the timing verification....thanks a lot

Try reading XST constraints guide and also XST user's guide. There is a very nice explanation of this stuff.
Concerning the problems in your timing analysis, try pipelining your design and use timing-driven packing.
But if you can paste a few timing violations here, we can help understanding them.
