Hi, i have used a parallel cable to download bitfile into my Virtex 4 FPGA. But when open Chipscope with this cable, the computer said it can't found the cable. Do anybody know how to solve this? thanks.

Do you still have Impact open? It will "keep" the cable so that Chipscope can't access it. You have to close Impact and then open chipscope.
Or just open Chipscope in the first place as it can send bitfiles to the FPGA as well.
