Does anyone know how I can check if the Philips 36 widescreen tv (36PW9767) is NTSC compatible?

says "NTSC via AV". I guess that might mean you can't tune into NTSC broadcasts but you can watch NTSC videos on an NTSC video recorder connected to the AV input?
