Looking for some HP16510B programming info

Feb 15, 2007 3 Replies

I'm looking to make an app that will convert HP16510B timing info into a VCD (value change dump) format. I can get the data from the HP16500A, but I need the 16510B programming manual to know what the block data format is. Does anyone have one that can scan that secton for me? Manuals are like $30+ on ebay and I can't justfy that for this simple project. Thanks,

The portable analyzer 1650B/1651B uses the same analyzer as the 16510B module for the 16500 mainframe.

The programmer guide is still available on the Agilent server at:

It may have what you need.

for the 16500 mainframe.

Thanks! I'll take a look...

Hmmmm I took a look at the data and the manual and it lines up until just after the preamble and then it doesn't seem to make sense. I have a file's worth of trace data and if I use this format described in the 1650B/1651B manual it says none of my PODS are active. :-(

Guess I still need the 16510B prog manual if anyone has it.
