I need a manual/info for the optional DVM module of the HP 5238B (/021 option) I have a manual for the 5328A but does not cover the DVM. im not sure what diference if any the B/A suffix makes.
The DVM resolves to 10uv wich is more useful for what I need than my DMM but it has a large offset of upto 300uv whereas my fluke 77 wil resolve to 100uv (wich is almost enough) but doesnt have any offset.
Surprisingly there doesnt seem to be an adjustment for the offset, although there are two pots marked pos and neg wich i asume adjust the low range but dont seem to affect the offset, (plus two pots for the other ranges). If theres no adjustment or fualt then I was thinking maybe I could replace some of the op amps with zero offset devices .. seems to be a few lm201 etc
