I am looking for a source of small rugged electronic hour meters. Something with an LCD or LED display.

In the US they are sold as "trailer park" or "marina" meters. Here's a US source:

Sorry, my parser interpreted hour as watthour.
Do a search on "hobbs meter" instead.
