The AMD 1500@6W Geode has a K7 core and runs at 1 Ghz on only 6 watts. This looks like a really nice chip to make a fanless diskless system around. It came out in May but the only motherboard I can find that claims to support it is the AMD developer board. I want to run a fanless diskless system using compact-flash with 2 Ethernet ports. The Geode uses the Socket-A used by regular Athlons. Can anyone recommend a motherboard that should work fanless?
