You don't, because there's no such thing as a "makelog". Once you tell what you actually do, and what it is you're trying to check, better answers will become possible.

hi

I'm actually working on ColdFire Processors. Am in the process of trying to get my tools ( Compiler , Simluator, Debugger etc. ) working.

I'm using an Eclipse IDE from

formatting link
( which contains an Eclipse application with the Zylin - CDT Plugins ) as well as the M68k-elf Cross Compiling Toolchain for ColdFire from codesourcery.org

My Eclipse IDE invokes the make utility from Cygwin in the background.

As such, i want to check the log file to see which command is being invoked by my make utility.

any help will be appreciated

regards

What makes you assume that "the log file" exists in the first place? Or that it must contain the exact tool invocation command lines? This is all entirelz up to your IDE. You should therefore take this question to a forum concerned with Eclipse.
