Driver development kits (DDK) for the MSCAN controllers of the embedded PowerPC MPC5200 from Motorola are now offered for OEMs from STEINHOFF Automation & Fieldbus Systems.
Supported are the real-time operating systems QNX Neutrino RTOS v.6.3 and INTEGRITY from Green Hills. Target hardware for evaluation are the Total5200 Box and the Lite5200 Evaluation Board from Motorola.
The DDKs are providing all sources of the drivers, as well as the sources of the APIs and example applications.
The drivers are working fully interrupt driven and are used e.g. in automotive and military projects.
For QNX 6.3 there are also offered single binary licenses for the Total5200 box and the Lite5200 EVB board as well as for customized boards with the embedded PowerPC MPC5200.
