what I want to build a power amplifier for a video signal ?

hi

I want build a power amplifier for a video signal coming from a ccd camera I don't know what is the information I need to do this ?&what is the steps?

note : the signal become very bad after about 3 km or higher of the rg-06 coaxial cable there are some amplifiers but I want to build a strong one with my self if there is any practical tutorial which I can used to select the correct components for the power amplifier which I want to design

If you are going 3 KM, you will need video equalizing amplifiers to boost the high frequency response. You will probably need one at each end, and one (or more) in between might also be advisable.

These should be available commercially.

the amplifier will require a bandwidth of at least DC - 4 MHz.

You might find that a modulator and receiver might cause fewer problems with the added bonus of sending audio. Baseband video over 3 kilometer will also have hum issues as well. GG
