PCB current capacity

Can someone tell me how much current a 1mm wide trace on a PCB can handle? Thanks

After you determine (or estimate) the trace thickness as well, then convert the rectangular dimensions (area) to the equivalent circular diameter, you should get fairly close.

Not certain about 1mm wide trace but maybe these will help.

There are various online calculators, just use Google imaginatively. There is no fixed figure, it depends on the temperature you you can accept.
